Caspar Below is a Principal Consultant in Product Management at Hippo Digital, with a background spanning product strategy in health, national infrastructure and charity sector leadership.
He is an experienced, innovative technology leader who helps teams and companies build product direction and service propositions, maturity models and sustainable team cultures to transform their business models ready for the digital era.
He has over twenty years of experience in strategic digital delivery and product development, client-side and agency.
Most recently he worked with NHS England on greenfield services and now modernising established national infrastructure. Before that he worked for the housing and homelessness charity Shelter UK scale their digital operation and establish an organisation-wide governance for building, maintaining and operating digital products and services. Previously he’s worked with a number of small businesses as a strategist, product and innovation consultant and at Macmillan Cancer Support as a Senior Product Owner.
Caspar Below is a Certified Scrum Product Owner Professional, Scrum Master Professional and Kanban practitioner, with experience of implementing agile ways of working with new teams, existing teams, senior managers and non-technical teams. He’s also a HCI qualified rapid prototyping practitioner.
Caspar is committed to lifelong learning and continuous professional improvement for himself, the teams he works with and the people he supports. Most recently he’s been learning about AI policy and ethics, innovation frameworks for AI/ML tooling.
